Natural Flea Control

Our two dogs Chico and Scarlett where used to get their monthly Frontline treatment and in the beginning I was perfectly happy with it. Things changed to the worse after we moved to a horse farm in the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area in 2006. All of a sudden my babies started itching like crazy. What was that?
The vet laughed at me and told me my pets have fleas. I was devestated. That year was the worst year since 1993 according to my vet. He supposed to put my pets on a double whammy, Frontline and Revolution at the same time and gave me a spray to use every other day. Well, of course we wanted the fleas to be gone and followed the advice. But what else would all the chemicals kill or damage? We soon knew. My husband, since early childhood an asmathic has not had an attack for many years but as I sprayed our dogs in the bathroom he got such a bad attack from the spray that I was scared to death and thought I had to bring him to the hospital. Since than we use only natural products.
I purchased shampoo, spray and even preventive squeeze ons for both of my dogs. Let me show you what I got and if you have used those products, please let me know how they work for you. At this time fleas are just reemerging but I’ll let you know soon how it goes. One thing for sure, my pets are not exposed to chemicals anymore and their humans neither.
